Riley Watson Wins the South Sound Modified Main Event

South Sound Speedway on Saturday June 8, 2024, was full of excitement with four classes on hand. Olympia Auto Sales & RV South Sound Modifieds, 11 cars for 50-laps, Black Lake Towing Legends, 14 cars for 35-laps, D & S Light Truck and Auto Pro Late Models, 3 cars for 30-laps, and Quality Quick Lube-n-Tune Bandoleros, 10 cars for 15-laps.
SS Modified Main Event started with Dylan Harvey on the pole, and Jeff Henderson on the outside. Henderson takes the lead on lap 1. Riley Watson takes the lead on lap 6. On lap 10, turn 4, D. Harvey spins, bringing out caution number 1. On lap 44, turn 1, Roger Beck spins, bringing out caution number 2. R. Watson goes on to win the SS Modified 50-lap Main event, followed by Dan Walker, Henderson, Jesse Sharp, and Robert Clark to round out the top five.
Riley Watson had a fast time of 14.720.

Jeff Henderson wins heat race #1, and Dan Walker wins heat race #2.
Legend Main Event started with Mason Nelson on the pole, and Danny Arnold on the outside. Nelson takes the lead on lap 1. Rick McNeill takes the lead on lap 3. On lap 5, turn 1, William Evans gets into the wall, bringing out caution number 1. On re-start of lap 5, turn 4, Nelson gets loose and spins, collecting other cars, bringing out caution number 2. Dylan Wolf takes the lead on lap 6. Kyle Kinzebach takes the lead on lap10. On lap 15, turn 4, Curt Boyle spins, bringing out caution number 3. On lap 25, turn 2, Arnold spins, bringing out caution number 4. Kinzebach goes on to win the Legend 35-lap Main event, followed by Wolf, Nelson, Davis Jacobson, and Allie-Mae Jones to round out the top five.
Kyle Kinzebach had a fast time of 15.532.

Allie-Mae Jones wins heat race #1, and Dylan Wolf wins heat race #2.
Pro Late Model Main Event started with Chase Pittman on the pole, and Trevor Flora on the outside. Flora takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 12, turn 2, Pittman spins, bringing out caution number 1. Flora goes on to win the Pro Late Model 30-lap Main event, followed by Tom Sweatman, and Pittman to round out the top three.
Trevor Flora had a fast time of 14.369.

Bandoleros Main Event started with Alexander Boyatt on the pole. After the green flag was waved, turn 4, Leilani Langston spins, bringing out caution number 1. Boyatt takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 2, turn 2, Kaiden Brown, TJ Schlund and Bishop Brothers get together, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 3, turn 2, Schlund spins again, bringing out caution number 3. Boyatt goes on to win the Bandoleros 15-lap Main event, followed by Hemi Franks, Rylan Presley, Jace Ellis, and Langston to round out the top five.
Alexander Boyatt had a fast time of 17.870.
