Matt Doyle Wins 1st Super 7 Series Super Late Model Main Event

South Sound Speedway on Saturday April 20, 2024, was full of excitement with five classes on hand. Super 7 Series Super Late Models, 11 cars for 100-laps, NW Pro 4 Trucks, 12 cars for 40-laps, FSCRA / Super 4s, 8 cars for 30-laps, Auto Tech Services Mini Stocks, 6 cars for 30-laps, and AMCA Bandit Dwarfs, 14 cars for 35-laps.
Super Late Model Main Event started with Matt Barrett on the pole, and Logan Cole on the outside. Barrett takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 1, turns 3 and 4, Alan Cress and Mason Cole get together and spin, bringing out caution number 1. Bob Presley takes the lead on lap 3. Matt Doyle takes the lead on lap 50 and goes on to win the Super Late Model 100-lap Main event, followed by Tom Sweatman (DQ), Tristan Haider, Presley, Cress, and Barrett to round out the top six.
Tom Sweatman had a fast time of 14.116.
Pro 4 Truck Main Event started with Aaron Greene on the pole, and Shane Greene on the outside. After the green flag, turn 2, Jerry Buell spins, bringing out caution number 1. Shane Greene takes the lead on lap 1. Pete Brady takes the lead on lap 4. Eric Angeledes takes the lead on lap 15. McKenna Cox takes the lead on lap 29. Angeledes re-takes the lead on lap 30 and goes on to win the Pro 4 Truck 40-lap Main event, followed by Cox, Brady, Jason Majors, and Cody Kooy to round out the top five.
McKenna Cox had a fast time of 15.980.
Pete Brady won heat race #1, and Jason Majors won heat race #2.
FSCRA / Super 4 Main Event started with Craig Neves on the pole, and Ron Grosvenor on the outside. Neves takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 2, turns 3 and 4, Ron Grosvenor spins, bringing out caution number1. John Grosvenor takes the lead on lap 3. On lap 11, back stretch, Gilbert Chamberlan spins, bringing out caution number 2. John Grosvenor goes on to win the FSCRA / Super 4 30-lap Main event, followed by Jeff Jones, Neves, Ron Grosvenor, and James Hawkins to round out the top five.
Jeff Jones had a fast time of 14.436.

Mini Stock Main Event started with Charles LaMere on the pole, and Ron Schlund Sr. on the outside. Schlund Sr. takes the lead on lap 1. Josh Peters takes the lead on lap 2. Shawn Jones takes the lead on lap 8. Peters re-takes the lead on lap 9. Jones re-takes the lead on lap 10. Peters re-takes the lead on lap 22 and goes on to win the Mini Stock 30-lap Main event, followed by Ron Schlund Jr., Ryan Macleod, Schlund Sr., and Charles LaMere to round out the top five.
Shawn Jones had a fast time of 16.238.

AMCA Bandit Dwarfs Main Event started with Jim Bentley on the pole, and Ryan Bishop on the outside. After the green flag, turn 2, Brian Taylor spins, and Mike Wooley ran into him, bringing out caution number 1. Bentley takes the lead on lap 1. Braydon Aurun takes the lead on lap 2. On lap 12, turns 1 and 2, Bentley spins, bringing out caution number 2. Cameron Stark takes the lead on lap 28. On lap 30, front stretch, Bishop, and Daryl Knutson spin, bringing out caution number 3. Cameron Stark goes on to win the Dwarf 35-lap Main event, followed by Aurun, Riley Windsor, Robert Rush, and Dale Knutson to round out the top five.
Cameron Stark had a fast time of 15.161.
Robert Rush wins heat race #1, Cameron Stark wins heat race #2, and Bryson smith wins heat race number 3.
