South Sound Speedway wants your family’s visit to be a fun & entertaining experience. We offer so much more than just racing, so make sure to check the website for a complete listing of the 2025 schedule of events. Below you will find several items that will make your trip easier & insure your visit to South Sound Speedway will be an enjoyable one!
Tickets: Our ticket office is located just in front of the main entry gate of the speedway about half way down the driveway. The ticket windows open at 4:00pm. South Sound Speedway accepts cash or checks ONLY, sorry NO CREDIT CARDS. You can purchase tickets on-line at Myracepass.com until Saturday at 12:00pm. All pit passes will be sold at the pit entry gate opening at 1:00pm.
Kids Club: Kids 12 and under don’t forget to sign up for the Kids Club. There is a table as soon as you walk thru the front gate open until approximately 6:00pm. We have exciting prizes and one lucky child gets a trophy and their picture taken with a main event winner.
Free Parking: South Sound Speedway always has free parking, as well as patrolled parking for $2.00. We also have ample space for handicap parking. If you do ride your motorcycle to the race track, we have a special area of reserved parking for you also.
What to Wear in the Stands: Casual attire is the word at the speedway in the stands. Just remember you are outdoors, so dress accordingly for the elements, and don’t forget the sunscreen. The races can get loud at times so if you have sensitive hearing, ear plugs or ear muffs may be the ticket for you.
Smoking Rules: There are sections of the grandstands, that are NO Smoking/NO Vaping on turn 1 and turn 4 in BLUE sections, please obey the Speedway Rules.
What to Wear in the PITS: In the pit area enclosed toed shoes recommended, you can wear shorts, tank tops, we also require you to wear a shirt at all times while at the speedway.
Coolers: Coolers are allowed at South Sound Speedway, although we ask that you limit your cooler to no bigger than 14”. Remember no glass bottles, or alcohol will be allowed into the speedway, as your cooler will be subject to inspection before entry to the grand stand area. If your cooler is larger than 14” we may ask that you take it back to your vehicle. Unattended coolers left at the gate will NOT be the responsibility of the South Sound Speedway.
Restrooms: South Sound Speedway offers 2 full service restrooms in the grand stands and 2 in the pits. The main restrooms are located as you walk into the speedway. The other’s are in the pit area by the infield concession. We also have portable Restrooms in the pit area.
Main Concession Stand: Whether you just need an ice cold soda or a complete meal of a cheeseburger or chicken strips & fries, or one of our large chicken salads, you will find the best food in the short track racing business here. At South Sound Speedway….our food is great & it is affordable for the entire family!
Beer: Our beer is served from a separate building between the main concession and the souvenir shack. We serve a variety of beer and malt adult beverages, be ready to show us your I.D. if you plan on purchasing adult beverages, as we do require proof of legal age.
Pets: Sorry, but insurance reasons, pets are not allowed EXCEPT service dogs with paperwork. It is never acceptable to us to leave your pet in your vehicle during the races!
Camping: As always, South Sound Speedway provides free camping. We do not have hookups. We encourage our campers to use the far east end of the parking lot for their camp sites. Sorry but no camp fires allowed.
Souvenir Stand: South Sound Speedway has a souvenir stand located beside the beer stand. Here you can find all of your latest and greatest South Sound Speedway apparel & souvenirs. We offer tee shirts, sweat shirts, hats, tank tops, and more.
VIP Suite Rentals: Do you have a group of people that you want to treat to a great night of short track racing, but don’t want to sit out in the blazing heat? Well we have a deal for you. South Sound Speedway has various 16 person V.I.P. sky boxes available for weekly rental. Make sure you call the speedway office (360)858-1464, or email southsoundspeedway@hotmail.com to reserve your box. They sell out fast, so make sure to plan ahead.
Group Rates/Specials: Do you want to bring your kids to the track for a birthday party? Have a big group of people that want to have a great time on a Saturday night? South Sound Speedway has many different group rates for all shapes and sizes. Call the speedway office today to reserve a section for your group.
Free Trip to the Pits: After each and every event at the speedway, the pit area is always open. Use this time to go down and meet the drivers and the stars of South Sound Speedway. Bring down your cameras, pictures and sharpies and get to know these guys and gals that put on our show. For insurance reasons we cannot have any personal vehicles in the pit area so please leave your vehicles in the main parking lot.
