The Hobby Stock car is built using a production chassis. Most cars use a Nova or Monte Carlo. No Camaro’s are allowed. The bodies are 100% stock appearing. These cars have very limited adjustability using stock suspension components. These cars run a V8 engine with cast iron heads and a $450 engine claim rule. Hobby Stock cars weigh about 3200lbs and run a 2 barrel carburetor and a 10 inch used racing tire. This is designed to be an affordable entry level class.
